And if an uncommon element or application is not factory-installed, the SPECTRO xSORT XHH04 handheld analyzer provides experienced users with a smart on-site calibration option on the PC.

The SPECTRO xSORT XHH04 delivers high-throughput, highly reliable elemental testing and spectrochemical analysis of countless metals and their alloys under widely varying conditions.

FAST
Entry-level SPECTRO xSORT Alloy delivers metal grade identification in a few seconds. The even more powerful standard SPECTRO xSORT analyzes most alloys in only 2 seconds! Even alloys with light elements (aluminum, magnesium, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, etc.) can be identified in 7 seconds. As a result, plant personnel or contractors can complete hundreds of inspections per shift – boosting productivity and profitability.

EASY
Reduced in size and better balanced than previous models, SPECTRO xSORT is optimized for day-long, fatigue-free, one-handed operation. The ergonomic design includes a light-squeeze trigger, a 5” large, easy-to-read, wide-angle, high-definition display, extra physical buttons ideal for gloved hands – and a smaller probe head for access to tight spaces. Results: effortless operation with all-day comfort.

FLEXIBLE
Factory methods offer maximum analytical flexibility, with 2 collimator spot sizes (3 mm and 5 mm). Users get ultra-wide coverage of elements and alloys, plus sample sizes. And operators don’t have to switch methods between samples.
